Mosley appoints PR firmAs be begins two legal actions against the News of the World, one for invasion of privacy, the other an injunction banning the tabloid from showing images from the notorious video, Max Mosley has appointed Phil Hall Associates to advise on PR matters. Ironically (or maybe not), between 1995 and 2005, company founder Phil Hall was the editor of the News of the World, the very tabloid that brought Mosley`s private life to world`s attention. Of interest, should one visit the Phil Hall Associates website, is the list of clients, on behalf of whom the company has done PR work. Until November 2007, Hall was the press spokesman for Heather Mills, wife of former Beatle, Paul McCartney. Hall quit the role following Mills` controversial decision to ignore his advice and make a series of TV appearances, most notably on GMTV, denouncing the media. Confirming the split at the time, Hall said that the TV appearances were "definitely the wrong thing to do." While the Mosley saga once again dominates the front page of this week`s edition of the News of the World, in the top right corner is a picture of Ms Mills with the headline `Mucca Strips Bare`. Sure enough, on pages 10 and 11 there are couple of pictures of the former model which leave little to the imagination. In one, Ms Mill, who is covering her naughty bits with a handbag, poses nude, even her artificial leg (she lost the real one in a road accident) is stripped bare for all to see. One has to wonder, in light of the growing calls for his resignation, and the best efforts of Phil Hall Associates, whether Mosley will have a leg to stand on for much longer. 8.4.2008 ▪ Formula One ▪ Mosley ▪ www.pitpass.com Related Post
