Heavy rain hampers Barcelona test

Force India have joined Scuderia Toro Rosso in packing up and going home after heavy rain affected the final day of testing at Barcelona on Thursday.

Seven drivers have ventured on to the circuit so far this morning, but Kimi Raikkonen, taking over from Michael Schumacher in the latest evolution of the Ferrari F2008, has so far elected to stay dry.

STR were forced to cancel their test a day earlier than scheduled when Sebastien Bourdais badly damaged the new STR3 challenger in a crash at Turn Nine.

The four-day test is scheduled to end this evening.
